Who am I?

I have always been a drifter and over time, I have drifted into earning a PhD degree for myself.  Currently, I am a research scientist who works in the cross disciplinary areas of Chemistry, Physics, and Biology.  My love with the camera started with my first Digital Camera.  It was the first real investment I made after starting to earn a miserly graduate student’s salary.  Yes, I bought it even before I bought myself a computer.  To make digital photography possible, I had to purchase my first PC.  A couple of years later, I bought my Nikon D70 DSLR and my passion for photography continues.

I have started this photoblog to share my photographs with you.  In a way, it is like opening a part of me to the world.  While doing this, I hope to learn from you.  So please do comment.  Constructive criticism is welcome here.  In addition, when I get lazy, I hope that this photoblog motivates me to go out there and take more pictures - hence helping in making me become better at photography.
